Trick
Ask explicitly for "above and beyond", don't imply it
The prompt
Less effective: "Create an analytics dashboard" More effective: "Create an analytics dashboard. Include as many relevant features and interactions as possible. Go beyond the basics to create a fully-featured implementation."
Expected result
A noticeably more complete, feature-rich build than the bare instruction produces.
Why it works
Claude's own current docs frame this as the highest-leverage habit: treat the model like a new hire with zero context on your norms, and explicitly state the ambition level you want rather than hoping it gets inferred from a short prompt.
